Since 1923 - and still, every bit as tasty. I'm not affiliated with the Borrachini family, just a loyal customer .
Miss Wagner is correct. The current GM has been with us over 30 years, as have most of the managerial staff. We hope this answers your questions.
Yes they do, but its like the McDonald's ice cream machine
Yes you can, but if you go in and talk with them then they may give discount sometimes
Yes they do!
After 10am for lunch , just a guess . That's about the time I see the soup out Sir .

The best Mediterranean market in Seattle, and also if you want a birthday cake this is where you need to go!
I was so excited after reading the reviews on “birthday cakes” to order one for my daughters 2nd birthday. I am so incredibly disappointed. First, I ordered an 8” round cake and when my husband picked it up, they had crossed out the size I ordered, and instead wrote in a 1/4 sheet cake. I’m sure they thought it was no big deal because it was bigger, but I ordered it round for a reason. The cake itself was old and stale and the writing was done in yellow frosting and barely visible. The characters on top were put on a dry cake and therefore the top of the cake was mostly dry cracked icing. The inside of the deli was rundown and lacked cleanliness. Customer service was also lacking. I will not be back.
Too much good Italian goodies. Everyone is extremely helpful and ready to serve. I did have some time watching a cake being decorated with different color cream icing. Great variety and fresh baked pastries.
What a great neighborhood bakery for Mediterranean and Italian delicacies. Ready to eat Deli and take-home frozen sections. Large assortment of imported Italian pastas and sauces. Wide selection of freshly baked breads and pastries. Few spacious seating areas inside. Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic fresh Strawberry Scone with the most airy and tasty cream. Delicious croissant breadsticks and red velvet old-fashioned donuts. Good prices. They also have LaVazza coffee.
Doing great with distancing and clean. Not as much to choose from as before but understand. Still great!
Lots of great Italian goods from homemade take and bake items like lasagna tortellini ravioli and other pastas to bakery items and deli meats and salads. Plenty of dried goods. Worth a visit for sure.
Borracchini’s exceeded my expectations for my daughter’s birthday cake. She wanted a Harry Potter themed cake and I couldn’t find one anywhere! They didn’t have a HP theme to select so I just asked for them to make it as HP as they could and bought my own cake topper to use expecting the bare minimum. They worked with just 2 days notice and the cake was so perfect that I didn’t even need the topper I had bought. It was so pleased with how it looked and it was delicious as well!
Our family has been coming for cakes for years. Consistently great tasting cakes and pastries. Also a good place to swing by for treats to share with workplaces or schools, good prices for bulk items and an amazing variety.
Been coming here since 1971. Our family's favorite. Good service, good people. I highly recommend this establishment.
The products are delicious and fresh, the prices are good and the staff is kind.
I lived and hung around Beacon Hill when I was growing up and Borrachini's was a mainstay for my family. I had not been back from probably a decade so I decided to return to see what had changed. A bit has changed about the place, it seemed brighter and better lit when I was inside. They still had a wide array of Italian baked goods. The bakery section was huge and had a ton of breads, pastries, pies, cakes, etc. to choose from. The deli section also had pasta, salads, etc. It's a nice place to visit. I ended up buying a couple day-old eclairs and while they didn't taste very good at room temperature, they were much better refrigerated. Now that I've returned as an adult I will keep them in the back of my mind when I want an affordable meal or dessert.
One of my favorite places, usually. Had a lemon bar that had a super chewy lemon layer. Not a fan.
It’s a family tradition to go here for cakes. The flavor of their chocolate cake is one of the things that makes me feel most at home in Seattle. I love their free samples too, and the great prices of everything. Being able to walk in and purchase a cake for any occasion at anytime, is so convenient and makes me so happy. I got my wedding cake from here, as did my parents, and my grandparents.
Went to pick up a birthday cake that I ordered online. They had to order in but the cake we're not ready to be picked up when I arrived there to pick it up. Amazingly, the cake was made it just needed to be decorated. That's a great thing. I'm an easygoing guy so hey no big deal. Also tried their deli chicken parmigiana. The lady kindly asked us if we wanted it to be heated up. We said sure why not. So, we ate at the little space where you can eat at the south side of the building while they decorated our cake. To be a deli purchase, the chicken parmigiana quite delicious! The staff are friendly and helpful. Also, they are hiring at this time so, if you know anyone that needs a job a they need to go there and apply in person. It was a lovely experience and I will definitely go there again.
